Returns Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. This applies to UK domestic packages only. Purchases made from outside the United Kingdom Mainland, are entitled to 14 days returns window.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. Refunds & Replacements

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. We will re-test the product as if it were new if this applies to the goods and determine whether a replacement is possible under warranty. All products produced by IACS Electronics come with a standard 1 year warranty *except for some goods with moving parts. If we inspect goods returned as faulty and determine a product failure was caused by customer negligence such as improper installation or over voltage, we reserve the right to refuse refund. If the return is processed under a simple change of mind, we may charge a restocking fee (deducted from any refund amount determined) the restocking fee varies between £4.75 and 10 percent of the goods total, whichever is greater.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 working days after the goods are being checked.

Late Refunds or Missing Return Items

If you only send back select items from your order and/or there are parts missing from your return, we will determine your refund amount based on the value of the goods returned that are eligible and notify or confirm with you which items are received.

Sales, Promotional and Clearance Items

Only regular priced items are may be refunded. Items on promotion cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they have failed prematurely under warranty and they are tested to confirm the suspected cause of failure or malfunction. If a customer wishes to swap an item for something more appropriate for their application or usage, they will need to cover the costs of the return process which can be determined by our team through the contact us links. The return cost or restocking fee may apply, and any difference in acquiring the new goods or exchanged item will need to be paid before any exchange is dispatched.

Promotional Gifts & Free Hand-Tools

If the item was marked as a gift or given for free to accompany the original item, such as pens, screwdrivers (miniature) or other promotional items, they are not eligible for return, refund or replacement.

Shipments & Postage of Returns

If you purchased your goods directly from IACS Electronics or via the website then you will need to arrange your return or exchange with the customer support team using the contact us portal or live chat on the home page. Once details have been provided either an address will be provided given (in which case the customer initially pays for return costs) or a shipment label will be produced for the customer to affix to the return parcel (in which case IACS Electronics pays the costs).

Once the returned goods have been received, only then will any outstanding balances be determined. The received goods and eligibility will determine whether the customer is entitled to reimbursement of any return costs or outlay associated with returning the goods. This is limited to the postage and packaging. IACS Electronics may request the use of a specific courier or postal service depending on the value of the goods to be returned. Goods sent back to IACS ELectronics MUST always be sent using a tracked or ‘Signed For’ service.
